The Black Pearl Kitchen has everything you need for self catering:
Electric oven, gas and electric hotplates,
all the pots and pans you could want to use,
all the dishes, plates, bowls you could want to eat off,
all the glasses you could drink out of and all the knives, forks, spoons and servers you could stick in your mouth.
A toaster, coffee maker, microwave and cold drinking water machine are here for your use.
Although a housekeeper lives in her own apartment downstairs, and does regular cleaning, there is a dishwasher and laundry machines if you want to be independent.
The Marriott Hotel is 10 mins. north. They have a great little grocery store with a good supply of ingredients. The Housekeeper can by fresh meat, fruit and vegetables for you at local markets.
In town are a few choices for shopping, including Tops Supermarket at Central shopping Mall and TescoLotus (for everything familiar from any supermarket in the world), but there are also local markets very close by for fresh local produce.
The housekeeper is a fantastic Thai cook and will also help out here, if requested, to. With a few hours warning she can cook for a small party.
Indoor dining if the weather turns nasty or outdoors is equally comfortable.
The BBQ and party area is also very handy for outdoor cooking.
The BBQ can be fired up for you at your request.
But there are so many good seafood retaurants around, if you feel like eating out; explore what's on offer at nearby, beachside cafes or hotels.
